Teledyne Controls Inc.: New Officials

Los Angeles-based Teledyne Controls Inc. recently announced the promotions of Armen Nahapetian and George Simmons. Nahapetian is vice president of engineering and Simmons is vice president of sales and service. An official with Teledyne Controls since 1985, Nahapetian has held the positions of senior director of engineering, director of research and development, director of data acquisition systems and manager of airborne software. A Stanford University graduate, he was an assistant professor, teaching computer science, before joining the company.

A 24-year veteran with the company, Simmons has held such positions as director-ACARS product line, regional director-Pacific, director of systems engineering, director of sales and marketing-aircraft systems, director of Seattle operations and senior director of marketing, sales and service. Nav Canada: New Officials

Air traffic services provider, Nav Canada, recently announced two new appointments. It has named Neil Wilson vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary. A recent partner in the Ottawa office of Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP, Wilson has experience in transactions and areas of litigation, including negotiations for amending Canada’s constitution and the commercialization of the country’s air navigation system.
