Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT) signed a three-year contract to provide helicopter training for Global Vectra Helicorp (GVHL), an offshore helicopter operator in India. Global Vectra’s flight crew will undergo training on the Bell Helicopter 412 full-flight simulator at ECFT’s facility in Dubai. Emirates-CAE Flight Training’s Bell 412 full flight simulator is certified to FAA Level D standard, and is also the first of its type in the world to be certified to Level D standard by the U.K. Civil Aviation Authority. Emirates-CAE Flight Training, located close to Dubai International Airport, is jointly operated by the Emirates Group and Canadian flight simulator company CAE.
