Boeing Wins Antenna Contract

Boeing received a $20 million contract from the U.S. Air Force to provide antennas for the E-3 military airborne warning and control system (AWACS) aircraft. The antennas, which are located in the cheek and chin fairings of the aircraft, are designed to intercept microwave signals and convert them to lower intermediate frequencies.
