Objective Interface Systems (OIS) and German-based SYSGO formed a technology alliance to integrate OIS’ communications technologies with SYSGO’s portfolio of operating systems. OIS, based in Herndon, Va., and SYSGO said the product integration between SYSGO’s real-time operating systems and OIS’ communications middleware is the biggest draw for makers of communication systems, radar and sonar systems, avionics and other security- and performance-critical applications. "With a synergistic focus on technical excellence and customer support, our companies are working together to deliver seamlessly integrated products that meet the performance, security and safety requirements of even the most demanding embedded systems," said Joe Jacob, OIS senior vice president. "SYSGO developers will soon be able to use the complete range of OIS’ high-performance, small-footprint communications middleware with SYSGO operating environments. This will allow our customers to establish communications among diverse systems, even the most mission-critical, without having to make modifications at the code level," said Torsten Sehlinger, SYSGO vice president of marketing.
