Sabena Technics is now set to distribute Esterline Avionics Systems’ CMA-6800 LCD Display to ATR 42/72 operators, Sabena says. These operators are primarily located in Europe.

The Esterline display is based on an Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD). It can be used to replace the Honeywell ED-800 Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) display, offering greater reliability and weight savings. No retraining is required. The Esterline CMA-6800 has been approved for installation by multiple certification agencies for more than 10 aircraft types. So far, more than 250 of the displays have been delivered in North America and Europe.
