[Avionics Today 01-12-2016] Icelandair will equip its 767 aircraft with STG Aerospace next generation saf-Tglo SuperSeal UltraLite (SSUL) photoluminescent floorpath lighting, becoming the first 767 operator for this newly certified system.

Icelandair is already in the process of upgrading its 757 fleet from saf-Tglo SuperSeal Lite (SSL) to the new SSUL version. Icelandair has also signed a commitment to purchase 12 737MAX aircraft which Boeing will deliver factory-fitted with SSUL in 2018. This decision to ensure commonality across its fleet both now and into the future is a clear sign of Icelandair’s confidence in STG Aerospace’s ability to deliver both innovation and reliability in lighting its aircraft’s cabins.
