[Avionics Today 03-10-2015] Gulfstream has received type certification approval for the G280 business jet. The G280 has range of 3,600 nautical miles, and is equipped with twin Honeywell HTF7250G engines.

According to Larry Flynn, president of Gulfstream, the airframe manufacturer has now delivered more than 50 G280s and there are definitely opportunities well suited to the G280 in Brazil.
“Of all the South American countries, this aircraft is particularly well-suited for Brazil. Departing from Sao Paulo, the G280 can reach the entire continent without refueling and can fly to the U.S. and Europe with one stop,” said Flynn.
