[Avionics Today 02-19-2015] The Gulfstream G650ER set two city-pair records recently while performing a flight around the world with one stop. According to Gulfstream, the G650ER took off from White Plains, N.Y., and performed a 6,939-nm flight eastbound to Beijing in 13 hours and 20 minutes. Next, the long-range business jet performed a 6.572-nm flight to Savannah, Ga., in 20 hours.
Both city-pair records are pending review by the U.S. National Aeronautic Association and Switzerland’s Federation Aeronautique Internationale for approval.
