[Avionics Today July 21, 2014] TTTech has released the third generation of its high-speed data bus communication device, the TTP Controller. The Austrian aerospace and defense manufacturer said the latest TTP Controller supports data buss communication speeds of up to 25 Mbps. Produced in a lead-free configuration, the latest TTP Controller is DO 254 compliant.

Previous versions of the TTP Controllers have been used in the Airbus A380 and Boeing 787, and the company is currently developing a version for the fly-by-wire systems on the Embraer Legacy 450/500 business jets and the Bombardier CSeries regional aircraft family.

"The results of the liquid-to-liquid tests have demonstrated the reliability of our product once more and have proven that the combined, uninterrupted operation time of over 23 years of the TTP Controllers is no coincidence. We are very happy to introduce the next generation of this successful solution and are looking forward to continuing our close cooperation with our customers," said Reinhard Maier, director aerospace products and projects at TTTech.
