Aircell, Gogo’s business aviation group, has surpassed 2,000 Gogo Biz system installations.

Gogo Biz was first introduced June 2009, to bring Gogo’s in-flight connectivity service to business jets. According to Gogo, by reaching 2,000 installations the service has become the "most rapidly-adopted broadband service in business aviation history."

"The business aviation market’s passion for the service continues to exceed our expectations," said John Wade, Aircell’s executive vice president and general manager. "This brings total adoption to more than 4,000 air-to-ground systems in the business aviation and commercial aviation markets."

Gogo Biz is expanding beyond the U.S. this year as well, as the company expects the service to be live over Canadian airspace by the end of the first quarter.
