Thales announced the expansion of its avionics offerings with its new company Thales Visionix.
The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Thales, and the result of Thales’ acquisition of the Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) and InterSense motion tracking businesses formerly owned by Gentex Corp. The company will continue to develop motion tracking systems under the Intersense brand name.
