Hainan Airline to Use Honeywell Avionics

Honeywell said Feb. 2 tt will provide a suite of avionics for Hainan Airlines’ new Airbus A320 deliveries in the next three years. The contract details were not disclosed. The avionics selected includes Honeywell’s Air Data Inertial Reference Unit (ADIRU); Airborne Collision Avoidance System (ACAS) Mode S; Solid State Data and Voice Recorders; Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning System (EGPWS) and Air Traffic Services Unit (ATSU) with Airline Operational Communication (AOC) software on 13 A320 deliveries beginning in 2010, with options for 30 additional A320 aircraft. The first 13 deliveries will also include ADIRUs.
