Elbit Systems, Haifa, Israel, was awarded a $20 million contract to supply its Hermes 450 UAV Systems to an undisclosed European country. The contract includes air vehicles and their complementing ground systems, to be delivered during 2009. Hermes 450, which is the basis for the U.K. Armed Forces’ Watchkeeper program, has accumulated over 100,000 operational flight hours. For related news
