Israel Awards Elbit $35 Million for UAS Upgrades

Elbit Systems signed a three-year $35 million contract with the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD) to develop advanced features for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS).

The contract calls for Elbit to develop the quick reconfiguration of UAS payloads, among other upgrades. IMOD’s new order from Elbit is in addition to a $90 million 2012 contract for Hermes 900 UAS. More
