Panasonic Avionics Corp., baced in Lake Forest, Calif., signed a 10-year agreement with SIA Engineering Company for Maintenance Services (MS). Panasonic is providing in-flight entertainment and communication (IFEC) maintenance services for the Singapore Airlines fleet over 10 years. Panasonic currently provides IFEC systems to Singapore Airlines entire fleet. With this agreement, Panasonic’s MS team serves as a central point of communication for daily IFEC maintenance, providing real-time updates on aircraft tail performance, scheduling preventive maintenance actions and detecting any recurring issues. Under the agreement, Panasonic will work in conjunction with SIA to provide a “one-stop-shop” covering all on-aircraft labor, logistics, spares, repairs, and media loading.
