[Avionics Today 10-27-2015] Elliott Aviation has launched its 400E program, a full Beechjet 400A/Hawker 400XP refurbishment including Garmin G5000 avionics with a Lumatech LED master warning panel, Gogo Wi-Fi with Gogo Vision, a new exterior paint design, and a completely redesigned, lighter weight interior.

The 400E will feature the first-ever field installation of a Garmin G5000 in a Beechjet 400A or Hawker 400XP, according to Elliott Aviation. The interior will have USB charging ports, redesigned cabinetry and variable color LED upwash and downwash cabin lighting, all controlled through a mobile app.

“With a sound airframe that has no life limit, available overhaul or replacement of the Pratt & Whitney JT15D engines, and now a fully updated cockpit and interior, we have a great program to extend the useful life and useful load capacity of the 400 model aircraft,” said Greg Sahr, president of Elliott Aviation.
