[Avionics Today 11-26-2014] Airbus and the Toulouse-based Tarbes National Engineering School (ENIT, for it’s name in French), a higher education and research institution, have signed a partnership agreement. This agreement includes various areas of collaboration, particularly at the level of academic life, preferential internship offerings, regular participation in conferences, forums and company visits.

Furthermore, support for and the development of training and work experience for engineers, along with international cooperation and exchange programs, are also being promoted through this agreement. Additionally, the companies aim to take a diversity initiative to encourage people, particularly young women, to pursue careers in the aeronautical industry.
