Europe Airpost Receives Approval for Paperless Cockpits

Europe Airpost pilots are ready to eliminate paper flight manuals from the cockpits of their Boeing 737 aircraft, receiving EASA approval to begin using electronic flight bags (EFB).

The airline will begin operating its fleet of 737s with the NavAero Class 2 EFB, equipped with Lufthansa Systems’ Lido/eRouteManual. The EFBs will feature electronic navigation charts identical to the paper-based navigation charts that the pilots had previously been using.
