Boeing subsidiary Jeppesen, based in Englewood, Colo., entered into an agreement with MGL Avionics, Torrance, Calif., a supplier of avionics for the light sport and experimental aircraft markets, to provide Jeppesen NavData and obstacle services for MGL Avionics systems. The Jeppesen flight data now available for MGL Avionics systems serves as part of a total Jeppesen light sport and experimental aircraft solution suite.

“Jeppesen and MGL Avionics have teamed to provide our customers with the most accurate and timely flight information available, including Jeppesen’s industry leading navigational data,” said Rainier Lamers, CEO, MGL Avionics. “MGL Avionics glass cockpit aviators customize their avionics displays to their preference and we are pleased to offer Jeppesen data as part of a complete information solution.”

Jeppesen NavData, obstacles, terrain, and charting solutions are available for third party integrations supporting a wide variety of applications and hardware solutions, including those within light sport and experimental aircraft avionics systems. Data updates are completed using Jeppesen Services Update Manager software.

Coverage areas include Contiguous USA, East-Central USA, West-Central USA, North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Eurasia, the Middle East, the Pacific region, and Worldwide.
