[Avionics Magazine 10-26-2016] Airbus has chosen Panasonic Avionics as lead supplier for High Bandwidth Connectivity (HBC) technology on its Airbus A320, A330 and A380 platforms.

Panasonic’s Global Communications Service uses a Ku-band satellite network to deliver high-speed communications services on 99.6 percent of all air traffic routes. According to Airbus, the service lets passengers connect to the people, digital entertainment, and web content of their choice. It also enables Panasonic’s eXTV global inflight television service.
