[Avionics Today 3-17-2015] Panasonic Avionics has secured Ku-band satellite capacity on the Hunter Communications Canada E115WB satellite.  The new agreement will give Panasonic nearly one-third of the available capacity to provide Internet access and airline data services to aircraft equipped with Panasonic’s satellite delivery service.

"Using this satellite, Panasonic will be able to provide connectivity services from central Canada to the West, including the Yukon gap, at levels that have previously been unavailable to any inflight connectivity provider," said David Bruner, vice president of global communications services at Panasonic Avionics.
