[Avionics Today March 11, 2014] Jeppesen is adding new European coverage areas for its Mobile FliteDeck aviation iPad application, according to a new announcement from the Boeing Digital Aviation subsidiary.
Software updates add expansion of the Mobile FliteDeck’s European coverage to Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg. Jeppesen has also added interactive airspace warnings, NOTAM pinning functionality and improved track vector features.
With the new airspace warnings function, pilots can receive advanced warnings about potential "in-flight airspace infringements" and "distance and time to infringement" according to Jeppesen.
