NavAero’s tBag C22 Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) was issued an EASA Supplemental Type Certification (STC) for the Challenger 601, the company announced last week.

The STC was executed by RUAG Aviation under their DOA certification. The STC provides for a dual installation of the tBag C22 EFB with cross-CPU Ethernet connections and ARINC 429 connectivity. The deployed EFB system for the Challenger 601 STC also incorporates the use of the navAero tPad 1500 display.

"Aircraft operators want enhanced aircraft connectivity for the deployment of sophisticated applications like those that depict own-ship position. This highly integrated certification defines the path for future navAero STC initiatives," said Simone Giordano, navAero VP Customer Operations.
