You don’t have to look far to see the impact social media, including Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, have had on our culture. It’s rare to find a person who doesn’t have a Facebook page! In just a few years, what started as a means to share baby pictures and reconnecting with old friends has morphed into a powerful tool for helping companies connect with their customers and better respond to needs and market demands.
For the avionics industry, OEMs, airframe manufacturers, and system installers all have a presence on social media sites, actively using the sites to announce new products, new contracts and company activities. But how does this social media traffic translate into a better way to do business for makers and installers of aircraft electronics equipment? And how are companies embracing these communication pathways?
Our panel of experts will address these questions and answer questions about how they’re using social media to help their businesses.
