XOJET earned the highest ranking in four key safety, maintenance and operations categories – more than any other operator – from Aviation Research Group/U.S. (ARG/US), the industry’s leading independent safety firm. The four categories are: Operations Safety Program, Maintenance Control and Planning, Maintenance Personnel and Maintenance Management. XOJET also tied for the highest ranking in Operations Management and Pilot Records.
Each year, ARG/US safety auditors compile a list of operators that have excelled in the company's audit parameters based on scores achieved in audits for the year. These “model programs” are derived from ARG/US audit scores as expressed on a Likert-type scale of 1.0 to 5.0, with 5.0 being the highest rating in individual categories.
“We are proud to receive such high recognition for our unwavering commitment to safety, maintenance and operational excellence,” said Dave Miller, executive vice president and COO. “We continue to invest heavily in our operational infrastructure, as reflected in our decision to build our own maintenance centers rather than outsource this critical function. We have also developed an industry-leading safety management system and make it a priority to hire and train only the best personnel.”
XOJET has established permanent bases and a dedicated in-house maintenance organization to ensure complete control over maintenance quality, one of the most critical drivers of safety. The 24/7 operation focuses exclusively on the XOJET fleet, is tightly integrated with flight crews, and has deep knowledge of each XOJET aircraft. Its services are designed for high-volume private travelers. The company's strategy combines the service, access and exclusivity of owning a jet with the efficiencies and operational rigor of successful commercial airlines. Founded in 2001, XOJET officially launched its service in January 2006.
