National Air Transportation Association scheduled its Air Charter Summit for on June 9-11 at the Westfields Marriott Conference Center near Dulles Airport in suburban Washington, DC. NATA called 2008 a watershed year for Part 135, on-demand chart companies and promises complete updates on safety, security and taxes. In addition, the summit will discuss the increasing presence of brokers and fractional ownership and card programs. Event festivities kick-off on Monday, June 9, with attendees participating in the President's Golf Tournament and touring the
National Air and Space Museum's Udvar-Hazey Center. The rest of the summit will be taken up with seminars and workshops of interest to the air charter industry.
