PAL is looking to operate its new A321s primarily on international flights within the Asian region. The airline's order includes 44 single aisle A321s and 20 wide body A330s.
“We are excited about the A321 not only because its size fit our expansion plans, but the flexibility it gives us in matching the aircraft to specific route requirements," said Ramon Ang, president and CEO of PAL.
Later this year Airbus is scheduled to deliver PAL's first A330.
