Mesa Airlines Wins FAA Diamond Award

Mesa Airlines has received the FAA's Diamond Award for 2013, in recognition for aircraft maintenance excellence.
The Phoenix, Ariz.-based regional carrier's maintenance team was awarded based on 100 percent participation initial and recurrent trainings during the year. This is the second consecutive year Mesa has received the Diamond Award.

"Mesa takes great pride in the dedication of our maintenance staff, and I applaud our personnel for maximizing the opportunities to benefit from the training resources they have available to them. This dedication is a strong reflection on Mesa's commitment to a Safety First culture, and represents the second consecutive year that Mesa’s maintenance staff have been awarded the Diamond Award of excellence," said Gary Appling, senior vice president of maintenance and engineering at Mesa.
