The integrated solution will provide web-enabled features to manage cargo logistics for the airline, replacing its current legacy Unisys-based MOSAIK application. LCAG said the web-enabled features and real time availability of operational information will lead to improved revenue generation for its increasing volumes of cargo movement.
“The clear differentiator is the state of the art architecture/technology as well as the skilled employees,” said Roland Schutz, CIO of Lufthansa Cargo AG. “Furthermore iCargo is unique in offering consistent process support with its single platform ranging from sales processes to handling as well as ULD management and up to revenue accounting.”
LCAG will deploy the iCargo solution across 100 stations with more than 4,000 users globally.
