Lockheed Subsidiary Opens Flight Training Center in Brazil
Lockheed Martin subsidiary Sim-Industries opened its first flight training campus in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes pilots will begin training at the center on a Boeing 737 simulator next week. The three-story facility has the capacity to train 335 pilots, Lockheed Martin said.
“Brazil’s talented pilots are focused on passenger and aircrew safety, and that priority serves as the foundation for our training center in São Paulo,” said Paul Livingston, chief operating officer at Sim-Industries. “With an immersive learning environment that allows pilots to move between the classroom and hands-on practice, they are prepared for every contingency.” More
