The U.S. Army has issued a $5 million aircraft maintenance and logistics contract to Lockheed Martin
to provide sustainment-level maintenance for its fleet of helicopters.
Under the agreement, the company will provide repair, reset and modification services for the Army's fleet of AH-64, UH-60, CH-47 and OH-58 helicopters. U.S. Army Contracting Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contractor.
In the past, Lockheed has provided similar maintenance programs for the U.S. Navy's H-60 fleet, and for the U.S. Army's fleet of Apache helicopters.
