Libyan Wings Commits to $1.2 Billion Airbus Order

Newly launched Tripoli-based carrier Libyan Wings has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for three Airbus A350-900s and four A320neos, a $1.2 billion order at current list prices.
The airline will begin charter and freight operations next year, and is building up its fleet at the Dubai Airshow.

“The A350 XWB and A320neo will play a significant role in ensuring that our new airline operates one of the most modern and efficient fleets in the Middle East region moving forward,” said Wisam Al Masri, chairman of Libyan Wings.
