Japan Air Commuter has renewed its Smart Parts program coverage with Bombardier for its fleet of Q400 turboprops.
The program provides scheduled maintenance and projects repair costs for life cycle management for the carrier's fleet, described as Bombardier
as being "customized to the airline's specific operational and performance needs."
"The entire team is deeply engaged in ensuring that our Smart Parts program meets Japan Air Commuter's exacting parts quality and performance standards,
which are our core strengths as the OEM," said Gary Martin, vice president of sales, marketing and service programs at Bombardier.
Japan Air Commuter was the first commercial carrier to select the Smart Parts program for its Q400s. The new agreement is good through 2018.
