ICAO Conference Produces 130 New Air Service Agreements
The 2012 ICAO Air Services Negotiation Conference produced a total of 130 new air service agreements between the 62 participating member states.
“ICAO’s efforts have provided a convenient platform to facilitate aviation relations and improve air links and services between states such as Kuwait,” said Fawaz, Al-Farah, director general of civil aviation for Kuwait. Al-Farah signed a total of 11 agreements at ICAN 2012, with a total of seven agreements regarding open skies arrangements.
The Civil Aviation Directorate of Turkey also signed air transportation agreements with a total of 12 countries at the conference.
