Frasca Receives ISO Certification
Urbana, Ill.-based flight training company Frasca International has received ISO 9001:2008 Certification of its Quality Management System.
The International Organization for Standardization issues ISO 9001:2008 certification for companies that deploy a Quality Management System and for using a systematic approach to managing and improving their processes and procedures, according to Frasca.
ISO requires a five-day audit of a company’s QMS prior to issuing ISO 9001:2008 certification.
"We are delighted to achieve ISO 9001:2008 certification which attests to our commitment to continuous quality improvement. Frasca’s culture is driven by and is in complete alignment with the principles inherent in ISO's standards. In working towards this certification, we have addressed every aspect of Frasca’s operations and have thoroughly involved every employee in the deployment of our Quality Management System,” said John Frasca, president of Frasca International.
