FedEx Express Orders Four Boeing 767 Freighters
FedEx Express placed an order for four Boeing 767 Freighters, a $742 million value according to Boeing’s current list prices. The carrier is looking to replace its aging MD-10 freighter fleet with the more fuel-efficient 767-300 Freighter.

The 767 also allows FedEx to increase effiency, because the planes share spare parts, tooling and flight simulators with the 757 planes that are currently in the FedEx fleet.
"These new 767s will provide significantly improved reliability and are substantially more fuel-efficient than the aircraft they will replace. They will be an excellent addition to the FedEx fleet,” said James Parker, executive vice president of air operations at FedEx Express. More
