Citilink Orders 25 Airbus A320neos
Garuda Indonesia’s regional carrier Citilink placed a firm $2.42 billion order for 25 Airbus A320neo aircraft.
Citilink signed an agreement for the order in December, its first direct purchase from Airbus as it looks to add to its all-Airbus fleet of A320s.
“The A320 has played a key role in the recent success of Citilink,” said Arif Wibowo, CEO of Citilink. “The low operating costs, fast turnaround times and strong passenger appeal of the A320 make it perfect for our operation and we are looking forward to the even greater efficiencies that will come with the NEO.”
Airbus did not announce a projected delivery date for Citilink’s new planes. More
