The airline is leasing the four A330s from CIT, as it looks to use them to launch a new long haul airfare option for passengers. The first A330 will initially be operated on medium haul regional routes, followed by the launching of Cebu's first long haul services to Dubai in the fall.
“The delivery of our first wide body aircraft marks a milestone for Cebu Pacific,” said Lance Gokongwei, Cebu Pacific President and Chief Executive Officer. "We will be the only Filipino carrier flying non-stop between Manila and Dubai, eliminating multiple stops or connecting flights."
