CAE on Tuesday announced new orders for its full-flight simulators and flight training devices, totaling $48 million, from operators and airlines in Africa and China.
The Canadian manufacturer will provide a Boeing
787 simulator for Ethiopian Airlines, a Sikorsky S-92 simulator for the Zhuhai Flight Training Center (ZFTC) in China and and two other simulators to an undisclosed African operators.
Ethiopian Airlines will receive a CAE 7000 series Boeing
787 simulator, and ZTFC will receive a CAE 3000 series S-92 simulator.
"Our joint venture with China Southern Airlines, ZFTC, continues to expand and we are pleased to broaden our relationship with operators in the fast growing Africa aviation market such as Ethiopian Airlines," said Nick Leontidis, CAE Group President, Civil Simulation Products, Training and Services.
