CAE has announced that it set a new record for the sale of full-flight simulators (FFS) with 43 sold year to date in fiscal 2014.
The Canadian manufacturer's latest contracts include the sale of five simulators, one Boeing 787 to Air Canada and a Boeing 737 Next Generation to an undisclosed North American operator. Both contracts are worth a combined $63.7 million.

"We are seeing unprecedented demand for simulation equipment, including from Asia's high growth market, and we are proud to maintain our leadership position in this robust market. We are pleased to have already exceeded our record in the sale of full-flight simulators with the year not yet complete," said Nick Leontidis, group president for civil simulation products at CAE.
