CAE Receives New Simulator Certifications, Training Agreement in Asia

Emirates-CAE Flight Training (ECFT), jointly operated by Dubai-based airline Emirates and Canadian flight training company CAE, announced certification of its dual configuration full-flight simulator for Bombardier Challenger 604 and 605 jets by the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HKCAD). 
 
The simulator also received certification from FAA, EASA, the United Arab Emirates General Civil Aviation Authority (UAE GCAA), General Authority of Civil Aviation of Saudi Arabia (GACA) and the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA). 
 
The simulator is the first of its kind, and is currently located at the ECFT flight training facility in Dubai. The announcement was made at the Asian Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (ABACE). 
 

Additionally, CAE signed an exclusive flight training agreement with Pacific-China Aero Technology, a Hong Kong-based aviation training and consulting firm. The business aviation training will be conducted at CAE centers located in Shanghai, China.
