CAE: 'Demand in Commercial Segment Remains Strong'

[Aviation Today May 8, 2014] Canadian full flight simulator manufacturer CAE reports strong demand within its commercial aviation segment, as Air China, Air New Zealand and Garuda have all placed orders for simulators totaling $55 million.

The orders include a Boeing 747-8 for Air China, an ATR 72-600 for Air New Zeland and an ATR 600 for Garuda. These are the first sales announced for CAE's fiscal year 2015, which began in April.

"As demand in our commercial segment remains strong, one of our top priorities remains customer focus," said Nick Leontidis.
