Bell 407 to Support Med-Trans Base Expansion
Dallas, Texas-based Med-Trans Corp. has added a second location to its Life Air Rescue program in Natchitoches, La. The 24-hour helicopter EMS program will employ a new Bell 407 to transport patients in the region starting in mid-September. The helicopter comes with a number of safety upgrades, including night vision goggles (NVGs), helicopter terrain avoidance system (H-TAWS), radar altimeters, GPS navigation, and satellite tracking and communications. Life Air currently operates a facility in Shreveport, La.
