Beechcraft has appointed a new sales distributor for its turboprop and piston-engine aircraft in Europe, Marshall Aviation Services.
Marshall will serve as the sales distributor for Beechcraft aircraft in the U.K., Ireland and Scandinavia, the company said in a statement Monday. The Marshall Aerospace and Defense Group (Marshall ADG) subsidiary also recently purchased Beechcraft's European aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul business at Broughton, U.K.
The company also appointed Marshall as the European sales agent for its Hawker XPR aircraft program, recently launched to upgrade its line of Hawker 400XPs, 800s and Beechcraft 400As with new avionics and engines.
"It complements our newly announced acquisition of Beechcraft’s European service and support business at Broughton, U.K.," said Steve Jones, managing director of Marshall Aviation Services. The distributorship will be based out of Marshall's Broughton facility.
