Avcorp Ends Litigation Against Bombardier
Vancouver-based airframe structures manufacturer Avcorp on Friday ceased all litigation against Bombardier regarding the termination of production work on the CRJ700 aircraft program.
The company filed a lawsuit against Bombardier in 2010 in connection to a contract for the CRJ700 program. The contract was terminated by Bombardier in 2007, and both companies have now agreed to be responsible for their respective costs regarding the contract.
Avcorp produces airframe structures for the Bombardier CRJ, Q400 and Learjet aircraft, and said it will continue to pursue “participation in Bombardier’s supply chain for several of Bombardier’s programs.”
“The Company looks forward to continuing its valued relationship as a supplier to Bombardier, the leading Canadian aerospace manufacturer,” Avcorp said in a statement. More
