Aldus Aviation to Purchase up to 35 Embraer E-Jets
Irish aircraft leasing company Aldus Aviation placed an order for up to 35 E-Jets, a deal worth $1.56 billion if additional purchase rights are exercised, Embraer said.
The order includes the firm sale of 20 E-Jets, five E-175s and 15 E-190s, with purchase rights for an additional 15 E-Jets.
“We view the E-Jet family as a key product, not only for Aldus, but for airlines seeking to provide a quality flying experience for passengers and generating profits in a challenging airline market. Several significant opportunities are in prospect and we believe that Embraer E-Jets will be increasingly central to fleet planning in many airlines,” said Stephen Gorman.
The two companies have not established a scheduled delivery date for the new jets. More
