Airbus Receives Turkish Airlines Order for up to 117 A320s
Turkish Airlines placed a firm order for 82 A320 family aircraft, a $9.3 billion order according to current list prices. The order includes 25 A321ceo, 4 A320neo, 53 A321neo and options for 35 additional A321neo aircraft, bringing the order total to 117 if all options are confirmed.

Airbus said the Turkish national carrier would make an engine selection at a later date.
“With the deal of these new aircrafts, the fleet number of Turkish Airlines will reach to 375 in total, including cargo airplanes. And the average fleet age will decrease to 5 from it’s current figure 6.6, by the end of 2020,” Turkish Airlines said in a statement.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2015, when the A321neo is scheduled to enter into service. More
