Airbus Delivers First A330 to TransAsia Airways

Airbus delivered the first of two A330-300s on order to TransAsia Airways in a ceremony at its facility in Toulouse, France. The A330 will be the first widebody aircraft operated commercially by TransAsia.

The delivery comes following the Taiwan carrier’s recent firm order for six A321neos.

ST Aerospace will provide support and component repairs for the new A330s, after recently signing a 10-year maintenance contract with the airline. TransAsia is looking to expand its fleet with all Airbus aircraft, as it currently has orders for future deliveries of six A321ceo and 12 A321neo planes. More
