ACG Orders 60 Boeing 737s
Aviation Capital Group (ACG) placed a $6 billion order for 60 Boeing 737 MAX aircraft.
The Newport Beach, Calif.-based aircraft leasing firm’s order brings Boeing's total orders for 737 MAX variant to more than 1,000.
"This order is a major step in building our broad portfolio of modern, fuel-efficient airplanes," said Denis Kalscheur, chief executive officer of ACG. "The 737 MAX enables us to offer our customers airplanes that provide the fuel efficiency, reliability and passenger comforts needed to grow in tomorrow's marketplace."
The 737 MAX is scheduled to enter into service in 2017. Boeing did not announce delivery dates for the ACG orders. More
