Linda Whitby is an active licensed clinical physician in the Baltimore-Washington, DC markets. Having served as Senior Aviation Medical Examiner from 1983 to 2001, she remains committed to aviation safety, S&R-Air Ambulance and other telemedicine-eHealth applications.

A perpetual rotorcraft student, linwhitby is a licensed instrument rated Commercial Fixed Wing Pilot -Single + Multiengine Land & Sea. After completing her Aviation Safety Certificate (Helicopter Accident Investigation) at the University of Southern California –Los Angeles, CA, she attended the International Center for Safety Education, in Tempe, AZ where she completed Crash Survival Investigators School; Aircraft Fire and Explosion School; and the Advanced Crash Survival Investigators School.
